Paint your own bunting!

BUNTING OR BUNT, WAS ORIGINALLY A SPECIFIC TYPE OF LIGHTWEIGHT WORSTED WOOL FABRIC GENERICALLY KNOWN AS ‘TAMMY’ WHICH WAS USED FOR MAKING RIBBONS AND FLAGS, INCLUDING SIGNAL FLAGS  FOR THE ROYAL NAVY.

Today, bunting has become a staggering array of kaleidoscopic strings of festive decorations used to celebrate special occasions and events such as milestone birthdays, christenings and weddings as well as adding a unique and individual decor around the home. Learn to paint your own seaside-themed canvas bunting with the Folk & Decorative Artists. This project is simple but has great effect.

It will spark those creative imaginations to create all manner of designs &  themes for your own unique bunting. Join us and learn some of the basics – painting strokes using acrylics paints, stencilling with many tips and tricks. No previous painting experience needed as the FDAA teachers will guide you through this project. All materials supplied – just bring yourselves, explore and play!
